Darren W. Marynuk Early Life and Career
Darren W. Marynuk was born and raised in Nickel Capital of the world Sudbury, Ontario. Growing up he played competitive hockey and baseball. Having played jr hockey for 4 years before ending with a knee injury before trying out in Europe as a professional hockey player. Being in the heart of the mining industry it was inevitable that he would move into a mining career. Graduating Cambrian college with a mechanical engineering degree which got him hired at one of the biggest mining companies in the world. Having a life with ups and downs, he was fortunate to have 2 kids from his separation/ Being a dad having a daughter led him to some very amazing opportunities trying to make his daughter a famous singer. He had the opportunity and got the call up to play a first line centre in Quebec #64 in hit Crave dhow Letterkenny in season 8. Filming in in Sudbury down the street meant time to lace em up and become a skilled actor and step into the acting world.
The shows massive success in North America opened up some doors and eyes for him. The northern Ontario film industry is now considered the new Hollywood North by having a major hit on there feature film. His goals is to be owning sand financing a film production studio and bring some major feature films to Sudbury that produces and acts in. He has networked with some of Hollywood’s elite and with the help and support he is on his way. Recently he has acted and done special effects in 4 movies. Delias Gone staring Marisa Tomei and Canadian Tephan James. Flee the light by mythic trips production and having his dream of being a part of the Resident Evil Reboot movie filming in his backyard and much more.
